I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ION Group (London, England) in Oct 2023
Interview
3 stage interview.
1st stage - very productive interview with one of the engineers. Gave me a very good insight to the job and probed my experience. Went over time and interview was happy to do so.
2nd stage - Managers of the role (2 people). Very tough technical questions. Some focus on my length of stay (although most roles at 2 years plus).
3rd stage - CIO of the company. Went through high-level achievements and top line reasons regarding my conduct.
Although I mention I got an offer, I technically didn't as there was a process where the role + candidate had to be approved up to CEO level. Never seen a company have to do it this way (plus there was random calls from remote teams unable to communicate that didn't spur me with confidence).
Great role as described through process, average time and stages. But could be quicker if they want great candidates to fulfil the roles.
