I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at IXL Learning (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
I found out about IXL Learning through an informational interview and was referred for a candidacy for a position. Upon referral, I was issued a written test, and after passing it, was given a phone screening interview with the team leader. The person asked about my background and specifics on my resume, nodded politely, and left time for the logic test puzzle described by other Glassdoor users in this forum. It was a pretty similar and standard interview, although my guess is that IXL Learning interviews a lot of candidates and recruits heavily, making the hiring process competitive.

Question 1
The same jelly bean question / treasure question. If you already saw these questions listed on Glassdoor, my advice is to be honest and tell them that you saw the question, then move on to another logic puzzle.
Pretty straightforward. The recruiter will call you and ask some pre-screening question then you will be asked to complete a task within a week. The task consists of grammatical correction, alignment and information clarity.
Had a phone screening which went well, followed by a work product. The instructions on the work product were overall very vague, and took a lot of guessing/assuming what they were looking for. It took me about 5 hours total, and I received a rejection email stating that no feedback would be given and with no further explanation.
The interview consisted of a recruiter call. Then a 2nd call. Then a remote meeting via zoom where I was drilled with questions that didn't seem to math the role I applied for. Zero emotions shown. No smiles.
