Overall speaking, IXL seems to be a nice company with talented people. I was first phone interviewed by the hiring manager, and then invited to do the group panel interview and a skill test.
Most of the people that I had talked to were very friendly and knowledgeable, but the last person I spoke with came totally unprepared.(I do believe that not only the interviewee need to prepare, so does the interviewer.) Despite the fact that she didn't prepare for anything (not even the questions, she was thinking questions while interviewing me), she tried to remind me how inexperienced I was which made me feel it's very not professional.(well, that's solely based on my resume, and yes, I didn't have much working experience listed on my resume.)
I don't know what happened to the interviewer on that day (maybe she just had a bad day), but from my points of view I think if they can improve the interview process that'll be great... I don't want to say this was a bad interview experience, but nor does it good, I'm rating it as neutral only because of the unprepared interviewer.
