I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infineon Technologies (New York, NY) in Apr 2023
Interview
It started out well with the recruiter contacting me for dates and times for the interview and the feedback was immediate. The first interviewer I spoke to was great and attentive to what I saying. We faced a technical issue with the audio hence the interviewer asked to switch to phone in the interview which worked well and we went right into the interview after that short issue. The second interviewer was not as willing to be accomodating when randomly faced with the same technical issue, but still chose to make me fix the issue while she watched on doing nothing. After a few minutes of not being fix the audio issue, I requested though chat if we could move speak over the phone. She flat out didn't response to my request and kept waiting for me fix the issue. This was very frustrating, and not only did it kill time but affected the flow of the interview when it could have been avoided had she been a bit more considerate. When interviews are online, there needs to be some level of understanding and consideration towards technical issues, which the second interviewer did not seem to care about at all.

The interview process for a summer internship was fairly straight-forward. I applied in late August, interviewed throughout October (2 rounds) and got my offer during late September. Each interview had a mix of behavioral and technical questions, employees were organized and professional.
