I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infoblox (Burnaby, BC) in Jan 2020
Interview
I was interviewed for a Senior Data Engineer position at Cyber Intelligence Team. Really enjoyed the interview and the professional interview procedure.
I Had 5 interview/sessions after completing an assessment task.
1- Phone meeting with a Technical Recruiter. He mostly explained about the company and explained the compensation package elements and asked for my expectations.
2- Interview with a Senior Data Engineer: Fairly easy, some string processing coding in my IDE and sharing screen.
3- Interview with a Senior Software Engineer: OOP question and string manipulation coding task in my IDE.
4- Interview with Staff Researcher: Discussion about the task I completed and my past experiences on their technology stack.
5- Interview with the team lead: More of a behavioural interview.
I didn't get an offer as I didn't had enough experience for the position. I was asked to have a phone call to get informed about the final decision on my application. I was excited as I thought I'm getting an offer, but I see it as how they respect the applicants (and for sure their employees).
Really liked the experience and I'l look forward to other opportunities there.
