I recently had an interview experience with Informatica that I would like to share on Glassdoor. While I appreciate the opportunity to interview with the company, I believe it is essential to provide constructive feedback to help improve the overall interview process. During the interview, I encountered a panel of two interviewers who unfortunately did not demonstrate the best interviewing skills. I felt that the interviewers did not allocate sufficient time for me to fully answer the questions presented. This time constraint prevented me from effectively conveying my qualifications, experiences, and insights relevant to the position. Furthermore, the interviewers did not introduce themselves adequately, nor did they ask for my introduction. This lack of proper introduction hindered the establishment of a comfortable and engaging atmosphere, which is crucial for an effective interview process. While I understand that interviews can be challenging for both interviewers and candidates alike, it is crucial for interviewers to create an environment that allows candidates to present their capabilities and experiences fully. Adequate time allocation for responses and a professional introduction from the interviewers would greatly enhance the interview experience and ensure a fair assessment of candidates' suitability for the role. I firmly believe that open communication and constructive feedback can drive positive change. By addressing these issues, Informatica can further refine its interview process and provide candidates with a more transparent and engaging experience. I sincerely hope that my feedback is taken into consideration to enhance future interview experiences for all candidates. Thank you for considering my perspective.
