I applied through other source. I interviewed at Insight Global (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2017
Interview
First I had a phone call with a recruiter for Insight Global. That lasted about 45 minutes. She then offered me an in-person interview at their Downtown Cincinnati office. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. I talked to two different account managers during the interview. They were both very nice, very high energy people. They were both only a year older than me fresh to the work force. Did not ask much about what I could do but asked what I liked to do outside of work. Kept things every conversational. After the interview the recruiter told me to give her a call to discuss how it went, but she never answered or returned my calls. I figured it was a no after she never called me back. Almost 2 weeks later I got an email from her saying I would not be best for the position.
I was messaged by a recruiter on linkedin and had a phone call with her, and then was set up with a first round interview with one of the sales managers for the office I applied for. In this interview I found the questions asked to be very strangely worded for it to be a sales job.
The interview process was long, it consisted of a lot of phone calls with the recruiter prepping you for the interviews. The in person interview felt very calculated and fake. Although I’m sure the managers meant well you could tell they were very judgmental. I’ve also heard awful things about this company so I think it was a blessing. Good luck though!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX) in May 2025
Interview
Began with a 15 minute warmer call with a recruiter to then schedule a 45 minute call with the recruiter, then either an in-person or online interview with hiring manager, and then last interview with manager.
