I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview was pretty basic and I got called in to meet one on one with a recruiter after they had reviewed my resume. I was told to prepare questions and dress was business professional. It was kind of unusual because the recruiter was more interested in talking about their own experiences than getting to know me as an applicant. I felt that this negatively impacted my interview because I wanted to come across as someone who would be good in sales, but I felt that I would have needed to interrupt my interviewer to come across that way.
I was messaged by a recruiter on linkedin and had a phone call with her, and then was set up with a first round interview with one of the sales managers for the office I applied for. In this interview I found the questions asked to be very strangely worded for it to be a sales job.
The interview process was long, it consisted of a lot of phone calls with the recruiter prepping you for the interviews. The in person interview felt very calculated and fake. Although I’m sure the managers meant well you could tell they were very judgmental. I’ve also heard awful things about this company so I think it was a blessing. Good luck though!
