I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Insight Global (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
Simple phone interview reviewing my background and what I want out of a job after college. First in office interview felt like speed dating with several different account managers. 10 minutes in and out going over a lot of the same information, really just getting to know your personality. The lunch interview was awkward, I felt like the hiring manager and other team member were having side conversation about work humor while I sat there. I was told to use this to prove I could hold a conversation and build a connection with someone but the manager gave me one word answers when I asked open ended questions and was reserved despite my efforts.
Was told they would call with an offer in 24-48 hours and never heard from them. My recruiter never returned my follow up email or phone call, its been a month. In a business where they emphasize strong relationships this is a poor way to treat candidates. not going to recommend IG to any future graduates who want a serious career.

Question 1
Asked about why I want to go into sales, general get to know you questions
I was messaged by a recruiter on linkedin and had a phone call with her, and then was set up with a first round interview with one of the sales managers for the office I applied for. In this interview I found the questions asked to be very strangely worded for it to be a sales job.
The interview process was long, it consisted of a lot of phone calls with the recruiter prepping you for the interviews. The in person interview felt very calculated and fake. Although I’m sure the managers meant well you could tell they were very judgmental. I’ve also heard awful things about this company so I think it was a blessing. Good luck though!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX) in May 2025
Interview
Began with a 15 minute warmer call with a recruiter to then schedule a 45 minute call with the recruiter, then either an in-person or online interview with hiring manager, and then last interview with manager.
