I was contacted by the recruiter maybe a week after I applied. I did great on the phone interview, and was brought in for an in person interview. The person I met with was nice, welcoming, and showed me around. I was told that a decision would be made really soon. Fast forward a couple of weeks and still no word. I received numerous requests for background verification, but couldn't get a straight answer when I asked about the position. Eventually, after following up I found out that the position was moved to another department. I connected with the recruiter again, and was told to follow up later. I followed up and still did not receive a response back. This is all after they told me that I would be a great fit for the position.
