I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Instacart
Interview
The interview Organization and help were great but
the interviewer is not friendly and helpful.
Just ask a question and he continued his job. I didn't complete even the first question because reading from file and go to some targets wasn't familiar for me.

first-line some coordinates, and line by line some letters.
You need to go target x and y. But you have to start bottom left line, so from the Last line.

And Common operations such as parsing strings, reading
from files, string transformations, etc.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Instacart (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2021
Interview
Had a recruiter call at first, then technical phone screen. The recruiter call was nice, but the technical interviewer was not paying attention past the first minute. Her Slack notifications kept going off and I could hear her typing. She said it was a multi-part interview, but did not timebox at all for any of the parts, so I started doing it for her. The question was very simple, but I was really confused when she asked me to code out every single test case I described. All engineers know tests are very tedious and a time sink to write, so I'm not sure why she asked me to do it in a multi-part interview setting. We ran out of time after all of the test cases I had to write so she just said "looks like you're out of time" and hung up? Definitely one of the worst interview experiences I've had.

Question 1
NDA -- but looks like everyone had the same question based on other interview reviews.
HR screen followed by standard product sense & execution interviews with peers. Recruiter was quick to respond, though one of the peer interviewers cut me off a few times as I was walking through my thought process.
