Applied via LinkedIn. Received a call asking if I want to pursue the process. We set up a time for a 15 minute HR interview. The call clearly came from a call centre in India that spoofed a Virginia number. The interview was just the recruiter reading general questions off, and as soon as I could not answer one question, the interview ended. He asked my salary requirements for full time employment, I asked about benefits, he responded that you don't get any benefits at all. Not giving the minimum benefits in Canada is illegal. Asked if I have any questions. When I asked who the client was, he said he was not allowed to tell me. I asked about the culture, but again said he was not allow to tell. The second stage of the interview was suppose to be a "GQ Test". The test is recorded, you are not allowed to wear headphones, and you have to show your ID. I declined going any further. They also made no effort to follow up with me after I declined. Very suspicious. When I did some research on the company, the offices they have listed on their website don't exists and a lot of fake employees on LinkedIn.
