I applied online. I interviewed at Internet Brands
Interview
The interview process is absolutely fake. I read other interview tips before I got on the call with the recruiter. She didn't know much about position, specific products to work on and seemed not very interested in getting to know me as a candidate. She basically read the script and then sent me a take-home. On the take-home assignment, it is clearly written as "this assignment is voluntary but once completed, it totally belongs to Internet Brands". (not the same words but this meaning) I got the clue that they were not seriously hiring people but just looked for free work. Very bad experience.
There are some clues you can spot early:
1) recruiter is not very familiar with the positions
2) they are not very interested in how you can contribute
3) they rush to send you the take-home and are never sure when to get back to you once you submit it (very obvious already!)
4) the "voluntary statement"

Interview
3 round interview process with Hiring manager, VP of products and the team
Focusing on your experience and how it relates to the role, response was pretty fast and moved at long quickly
3 Rounds! Basic product based interview followed by culture fit by leader. Overall fairly straightforward but can change depending on the hiring manager and the vertical for one which you are interviewing for.
They had reached out via LinkedIn. I spoke to a recruiter over phone twice and had a pretty basic screening call. Then I was set up to meet the project manager lead.
