Interview
About six weeks. Phone screens, then zoom interviews, then a full (8hrs) of on-site interviews in Sunnyvale. The day of on-sites went very well. The following day, the recruiter emailed me and asked for references. They specifically asked for a manager from my current employer. I provided references, and then I heard nothing for a month, and when I checked in for the second time they responded that they had decided to hire a different candidate. My references said they were never contacted.
So keep in mind, Intuitive will specifically ask for a reference from a manager at your current company before deciding whether to make an offer and then ghost you. Incredibly unprofessional. I do not recommend interviewing with this company.

Question 1
Pretty standard, behavioral, coding, design. Nothing particularly abnormal. Anyone with significant software experience in safety-critical applications should be fine here.

Interview
Had two screening calls with a recruiter. Met over Zoom with the prospective hiring manager in California which is two timezones away from me so it was later during my day. They would be my supervisor. They were non-technical and oddly curt during our call. There were some technical questions asked about different programming languages that would be used. After 100% certainty all the technical questions were answered correctly I was ghosted for no apparent reason by both the hiring manager and the recruiter.
