Interview
Highly engaged recruiter although almost to a fault. They were quick to share information and very communicative but 1) Information sharing not always done in the most thoughtful manner (e.g. received emails addressed to other interviewees instead of me) and 2) the expectation is that you will drop everything and interview with their people immediately. I was recruited off my LinkedIn profile, and while I was open to exploring the opportunity, I was also balancing a very demanding work schedule. I was asked to interview with people with less than 24 hours notice and while traveling internationally and on vacation. Even when I pushed back, there was an expectation that I should drop everything and commit spending time speaking with various folks. While I went through several interviews and had made several accommodations to schedule the calls, I believe my unwillingness to bend over backward to accommodate their unreasonable schedule was ultimately my downfall.
I think everything ended up for the best for me, but I would recommend the organization take the time that is needed to consider the role, the skills needed from applicants, and to be considerate of the people you are interviewing. And while I do think there were quite a few good eggs I met with, this felt like a company that was very eager, but also not quite there in terms of being strategic. I will say, the level of communication throughout the process is unmatched.
