I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at InvoiceCloud in Feb 2023
Interview
Screen call followed by a Panel interview with the entire software team. It was a panel of 8 people but pretty much felt like an interview with one person. No one talked and most of the people there were pretty new to the company and industry in general. It looked more like a day care center. Pretty shy people. They use a lot of outdated technology. The team looked extremely weak. I think they were looking for someone who could do more handholding than what I could provide.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Difference between a clustered index and nonclustored index. How to write a unit test for a function that connects to the database without connecting to the database. List ways to concatenate a string. What happens in memory when a string is concatenated in a loop.
Thank you for providing feedback. We strive to have an exceptional candidate experience. I'd be happy to connect to learn more and find ways we can improve.
