The interview process moved quickly, and I was asked to complete the final round on an accelerated timeline ahead of a company event. I appreciated the team’s time and was informed afterward that they remained very interested and would follow up post-event. Unfortunately, I did not receive any further updates despite multiple follow-ups. While I understand internal priorities can shift, a lack of communication at the final stage, particularly after requesting flexibility from candidates reflects poorly on the overall hiring process. Improved follow-through and timely communication would greatly enhance the candidate experience.

The first interview is online with the line manager, the second interview is conducted in person at the office with the line manager and general manager. They are fairly informal, with questions about previous experience and the things you like or dislike most about your role, to determine if you are suitable for what they are offering.
