When I went in for the interview the first thing I noticed was how much fun all the stylists were having, and how all the costumers looked very happy. The interviewer was very nice and she explained to me the entire role of a stylist. She was very quick but it was pretty simple.

Easy, phone call then in-person. You basically just answer personality questions and give basic experience to show you can interact with customers professionally. Then, they will detail what you can expect in terms of pay and work schedule.

I was asked questions about my retail experience and style preferences. Overall it felt pretty casual and I was told on the spot that I would get the job. It was my first retail job (previously worked in food service/was finishing school).
