I applied through college or university. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Oct 2013
Interview
This was a first round interview made in a target business school for a summer associate position. Unfortunately it seems that the process was extremely biased and decision had been made prior of the interview. We only got 15 minutes of time to pitch ourselves, tell why banking, and ask questions. There were presumptions made already about me even before I entered, which might be because I am an international candidate. I got cut in the middle of a question and received even less than the 15 minutes of allocated time since the interviewer was running behind her schedule.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
It was a one way interview on HireVue where I had been asked only 3 questions, each question being 3 minutes long and having the ability to retry one more time

Question 1
What is one economic factor that is happening in the news that really interests you?
Tough - 9 stages of interviews from juniors to seniors. Questions on markets, technicals, fit, motivation and everything else. Follow-up interviews with the head of the team and a process which had continued to whittle down the number of people in the process until there was only 3 in the final round.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
Multiple coffee chats and a super day with 3 rounds of interviews. Typical banking questions without anything out of ordinary. Heard back within a week with a decision. They put a lot of empasis of the prior coffee chats as a part of the evaluation process
