I applied online. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview was supposed to be conducted as a "BlueJeans video session" from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
I joined the call at 9:55 am and It was expected from the interviewer to do the same to avoid an end moment hustle.
I waited around 15 mins and nobody joined the call which is very unprofessional behaviour.
Then I got a call at 10:08 on my personal cell from the interviewer that she was away from her laptop and would like to conduct an interview on the call itself.
She asked me about my projects and prior IT experience, it took me around 8-9 mins to explain all the projects and technologies and the clients i worked for.
Then she asked me a few questions which I was able to answer, but she clearly seems to be distracted. I was saying hello are you there ? after giving an answer and she replied she was on mute.No cross questions on any of the answers i have given, I am not even sure if she heard what I said.
She asked me if i'm proficient with java 8, i said i majorly work on java 7. Still she asked me Java 8 questions(which is fine).
She was taking frequent pauses. I think she was trying to figure out what to ask next or she was doing some personal chores.
Then she asked me one more question and said she is done with the interview.
The total duration of my interview was 18 mins which was supposed to be 60 mins
