I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at JCPenney (Tucson, AZ) in May 2010
Interview
The interview was conducted by three separate people in order to get a thorough feel for the type of worker I was. They asked a series of questions regarding my experience with customer service and employment history. They also gave me a set of scenarios that I might come across on the job at JCP. Depending on how well we answered our questions, we were considered for employment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a question regarding how we would handle a difficult situation if we were pressured to do something dishonest by a customer or employee.
It was fairly straightforward and easy. The woman I interviewed with was nice and not very intimidating. They took about a week to get back with me about an interview after I applied for the position.
I applied online. I interviewed at JCPenney (Alpharetta, GA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I was contacted by email about my application. Contacted HR Supervisor and scheduled an interview date and time. Met with HR the next day for an in person interview. Very informative conversation with HR Supervisor.
Very efficient and the interviewer was very nice and gave me a lot of time to answer questions. The questions were not hard and they were very manageable. It was more so a discussion rather than an interview.
