I was contacted by a recruiter after my resume was submitted through an employee referral. I was asked a few basic questions about what I currently did and was I was looking to do. She then set up a day of one on one, back to back interviews (six total), which I had not long after. The interview process itself, though seemingly daunting, turned out to be the most enjoyable set of interviews I've ever had. I met with one person from each group, who spent most of the time explaining to me what their particular group did and tried to further explain how their subgroup fit within the whole. As I was a referral, I very much got the feeling the job was mine to lose. After the interviews, I wrote my recruiter to tell her where and with whom I wanted to be. I also reiterated the salary for which I was looking. A few days later, I received a call offering me the group I wanted at the salary for which I asked. I accepted verbally and soon after filled out some necessary paperwork online. Overall, I really couldn't have been happier with the experience.
