I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JVM Lending (Walnut Creek, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
First was a quick phone interview, and then they have you take an online personality test which was interesting. Followed by an hour ‘test’ basically answering personal questions and fixing grammar mistakes followed by an hour video interview. After these steps, I interviewed in person in Walnut Creek.
I have to say I genuinely loved every part of the JVM interview process. They asked interesting questions, and everyone I spoke with made me feel welcome and comfortable. While I did not accept the offer, I do speak very highly of JVM and the entire process!

Question 1
Why JVM Lending? How did you hear about JVM Lending?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JVM Lending in Jul 2025
Interview
Applied online and got a request for a recruiter screen. The recruiter screen was pretty standard; they then sent a link to a 1-hour-long assessment that asked brain teasers and behavioral questions. I thought this was pretty silly.

Question 1
Are you comfortable working in a client-facing role and working with data?
Had one interview over the phone. I was then asked to do an online test to 'test' my character. Never received results of the test, and never got a follow back call or email.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. What kind of worker would you say you are?
15 minute phone interview, DISC assessment, 1 hour test, in person interview. Very friendly people who are easy to talk to. Interview questions were fun and felt like they really care about you as a person.
