Jack Henry & Associates interview questions

Applied late September, got contacted by a recruiter and set up a behavioral interview with the hiring manager in early October. Recruiter and hiring manager were both great, easy to talk to and the interview went smoothly. After a month (and being told by the hiring manager that the next steps would take longer, and a separate follow up email to the recruiter after the hiring manager missed their date to update me) I got the instructions for the technical assessment (early November). It was to be done on my own time, followed by an interview with a few engineers to go over my submission. I completed the assessment shortly after and then radio silence. I followed up twice, two weeks apart each, both to the hiring manager and recruiter but never got a response. I got a generic rejection email from the recruiter a month after sending the take home assessment, with no explanation as to why the interview process was cut short.
