I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Reading, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
went in for a an introduction and details on what jacob does by a group of jacob employees. When we were done with that, we had a group exercise mainly on safety and presented it to them at the end of the exercise. We were then taken for personal interviews with two employees who asked technical questions and then competency questions.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs in Nov 2017
Interview
It was an assessment day. There was a presentation by Jacobs, followed by a group activity, followed by a panel interview. There were three of us in the group activity, simple task but you had 3 employees in the room supervising, one of which is a Jacobs recruiter. The one to one was ok, not to nerve wrecking, they help you a lot, and very friendly and down to earth interview.
I can't remember all the questions but it consists of competency questions, CV probing and one technical question.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Croydon, England) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied online, then I was invited to an assessment centre in Croydon. First they gave a short presentation on Jacobs, then a group assessment. The group assessment is done in a small group of 3~5 people for about 20 minutes. Then an 1-to-2 interview. Four competency questions, CV interrogation, one technical question. Most competency questions have follow-up questions based on your answer.
