The entire process consisted of three rounds of interviews, each with an increasingly more senior employee at the company. I was interviewed by people whom I would eventually be working with directly. The first interview was a 45 minute interview with the social media manager at Jerry, with whom I'd be working very closely. After that interview, I received a call from a recruiter, saying that they really enjoyed my interview and that I'd be moving on to the next round. The next interview was with the VP of Communications, whom I would be reporting to. This interview was more in-depth about my experience with social media and learnings I've taken from it. After that interview, I received another call from the recruiter, mentioning how they'd like to move me on to the final round. These calls with the recruiter were very helpful because every step of the process, they asked if I had any questions, how I was feeling about the company, whether or not the interviews were surprising to me at all, etc. I had never interviewed with a company that took time to ask about how I was feeling about the entire process, which was very reassuring and made me feel like this was going to be a great fit. My final interview was another 1 hour interview with the Co-Founder of Jerry, and this round was much more behavioral-based. She really wanted to get a good sense of who I was, what my motivations are, why I operate the way that I do, etc. She also further asked me about my learnings from my previous roles and experience with social media. I learned a lot from these interviews, and I truly enjoyed each step of the process. The interviews felt more like a conversation and, while they had questions prepared, they all felt purposeful. There were no throwaway questions or "gotcha" questions.
