I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jet in Mar 2017
Interview
I think they have changed the interview process now to include more on-site interviews and a gaming assessment before you begin the process... but for me, I did two WebEx (like Skype) interviews with Jet employees where I was asked to look at a product page (like a pack of batteries) and asked how to improve the page for customers.
If the WebX application is still used, it is important to know to call in with your phone for the audio and use your computer for the video only!
A week later, I was flown out to Hoboken and had 2 in-person interviews for 1 hour each. One was all behavioral questions, and one was more about strategy of business and ecommerce.
Everyone I met was great!! Very well educated, accomplished, articulate and fun to be around.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What impact did you leave on your college community?
Initial phone screen followed by in person interview. The in person portion was three rounds of different types of questions. Mostly typical interview questions and one more creative portion where you redesigned a webpage.
I found it to be positive and helpful. I learned a lot about the role and the culture. There were multiple rounds and I got to meet with several managers. I would recommend the role/interview process to my peers.
Seamless but challenging. The questions are geared to make you think critically while the answers are not necessarily the end goal. The more research you do the better. Good people
