I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jet (Hoboken, NJ) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview process was pretty quick. I was recruited on linkedin, spoke with the recruiter, completed a game on an app (meant to test various psychological and intellectual skills), then was asked to come in for an in-person interview. There were three 30 minute interviews. Everyone was nice, but the in-person interview process felt a bit rushed and was not very personal, in my opinion.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In one interview, they gave a few sheets of paper with various website formats on them (for a general search, a product once you've clicked on it, etc.) then asked you how you would improve the web design/things that you thought might be wrong with the pictured design.
Initial phone screen followed by in person interview. The in person portion was three rounds of different types of questions. Mostly typical interview questions and one more creative portion where you redesigned a webpage.
I found it to be positive and helpful. I learned a lot about the role and the culture. There were multiple rounds and I got to meet with several managers. I would recommend the role/interview process to my peers.
Seamless but challenging. The questions are geared to make you think critically while the answers are not necessarily the end goal. The more research you do the better. Good people
