      Flight Attendant Interview

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at JetBlue (Long Beach, CA) in Mar 2017

      Interview

I applied on January 2nd and received my Questionnaire on January 10th. I completed it that night and it basically asked me situational questions and my opinion type questions. On January 11th, I received a request for Video Interview and submitted it on January 13th. I was asked three questions and answered them using STAR method. On January 24th, I was invited to the Blue Review and chose Long Beach on March 23rd. I prepared using Glassdoor and STAR method questions online. The day of the Blue Review arrived and when I arrived in the lobby just outside the Ballroom there was an In-Flight Crew Member entertaining us with stories about the job and training which was making us laugh. We were invited into the room and were greeted by the In-Flight Crew. They came around and we spoke with them and they asked us questions about where we were from and things like that. They then introduced themselves as a group and showed us a video. We then began a group activity and had to answer questions while recruiters stood next to us and wrote notes down. We were asked to answer questions such as an entertainer for the airport, new catering, sixth core value etc and presented them to the room. We took a short break where I did my fingerprinting and got right back in. The Recruit team talked to us about pay, training, the job, bases etc. After that was finished, we watched another video then took a 20 minute break. We then got into two lines while we waited to do the interview and de-brief. While we waited, they did the height test and PA test which were both very easy. I did the interview first with only one In-Flight Crew Member (everyone else had two) and was asked three questions. She wrote down my answers under the STAR method. I then went back outside and shortly thereafter was invited in for the De-Brief and was asked Why JetBlue? The Sacrifices, greatest accomplishments. That was it for me. I received the dreaded email on March 27th. It seemed they were very picky in who they handed the CJO's out too.

      Interview

All good . Great experience . Been with JetBlue for three years . I was nervous going into the interview but they had a way of making me feel comfortable enough to give off my best. It lasts the whole day so it can be draining.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at JetBlue (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2025

      Interview

I applied online October 1st, 2025 at about 10:30am EST and was sent the video interview and assessment with games on October 9. I was working a lot so I had to wait to do a bit of research and complete it. I submitted my VI on Oct 14 (one day before it expired) and received my TBNT inside my B6 profile on the 15th. I know I didn't look into the camera enough, smile enough. Also the assessment was afterwards and it was a series of pictures that were in sets of 2. You choose which one is closest to your personality. I know you're supposed to be yourself in these things and I started answering what I thought hey wanted instead, which is where I went wrong. I'm a very creative person with a degree in art, yet when it came to questions like that, I chose the opposite, thinking they didn't want this. Later, I realized they do want creativity. But I cannot stress enough how you need to be yourself in these things assessment. Answer from the heart about how you really are. No wonder I got the dreaded TBNT! I don't blame them. I wish I could redo it, but my interview skills are way out of practice having worked for the same airline for years now. After the assessment, there were 3 games where you had to repeat a series of letters/numbers. Sounds easy, but I promise you it was much harder than you'd think. And also choose the shapes that were the same in a group.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Name a situation you encountered where you had to make a difficult decision you didn't want to and how you handled it? Name a time where you were under a tremendous amount of stress, what happened, and how you handled it?
