Just want to pay it forward and help anyone looking into applying or the process to work for JetBlue!
2016:
I applied on October 2nd, received the personality questionnaire on oct 14. The questionnaire consists of a series of personality questions, see how you access and reflect yourself as. Three days later I received the invitation for the VIDEO INTERVIEW. The questions were really straight forward, most of them are found here. My advice is to smile and be confident even tho speaking into a video might just seem nerve wracking and weird.
1. Look into the camera
2. Smile
3. Associate answers to company CORE VALUES ... know why you want to work there and why JetBlue.
4. Some people find it comforting to rehearse and record themselves to ease the nerves prior ... but try not to sound rehearsed - answer in S.T.A.R format - what was the situation - what was the task - what action did you take and what were the results --- all circling back to your customer service background or service related.
After the video interview 3 weeks late I received and invitation for their Blue Review aka their face to face .
The BR will make you love JetBlue more than you did throughout the application process . Make sure you know about the company ... their plans for expansion ... or just facts ...
SMILE AND SOCIALIZE !!! Working as a flight attendant means working as part of a team ...
There's a group activity in which you are observed t see how you interact with others ... listen but participate !! Listen to instructions when presenting !
At the face to face everything is done finger prints ... language test... reach test and PA announcement ... there's 2 interviews - situational questions like name a time that ......?
My advice is to not rehearse answers be friendly conversational and smile ! The recruiters are amazing and they want you to succeed ! they make you feel at home and comfortable !
I got offered a CJO a couple days later .... 😁 so it's not done on the spot ! Good luck everyone
