Applied online about a month ago, sent in the assessment that they send you after you submit your application. About a week and a half later got an email saying I'll be moving forward with the application and inviting me to do an video interview which asks you to do within 5 days. Video interview is pretty much automated, you're talking infront of the camera of either your phone, desktop, or laptop and the questions are generated (basically like you're talking to yourself). I was asked about 5 questions, they were pretty easy; mostly about your customer service experience. And then a week later after submitting my video, i got another email inviting me for my f2f interview (was happy & shocked at the same time) they gave me options to choose from, where I can do my interview & also the requirements needed. Since I live in Baltimore the closest one was New York and that was back on Nov 10th, the latest ones were all the way in California. If you're expecting them to fly you out to their interview locations & that they'll do accommodations for you, they will not, you have to do these at you own expense. So took the bus from Baltimore to New York the day before my interview. If you're flying out make sure you fly out the day before so you have time to rest and you're not rushing, you can never tell with flights too and book a room closest to your interview location of course!
Guys, the interview could take up the whole day by the way, 8-5pm but you won't be there for that long of course. Just make sure you bring in snacks inbetween breaks. Interview Day comes, good thing my hotel was just 2 min walking distance from Jetblue corporation. Make sure you dress to impress! Don't cake up your face, look presentable and follow the instructions given to you on the email they send you. Also make sure you have all the required documents they asked of you if you don't they will send you home and nobody wants that, you've gotte this far not to be turned back around. Call time was 8:30 i got there about 8. Fast forward there were about 60+ of us there. You are all ushered to a conference room and are met with recruiters, from FAs to HR people so smile, be friendly, mingle with people around you because as soon as you walk in they're already watching you. Process of interview 1) Introduction of themselves 2) Ice breaker group activity 3)15 minute break 4)Introduction of the company 5) another 15 min break 6) Interview (Pa Test, Reach Test, fingerprinting, Interview (3 ques), debrief (4-5 ques) ) in no specific order by the way, you get to leave early when you have completed all. I was out of there by 2pm, some finished before that so it depends. Will not go into details about the interview, but just be yourself! It may seem nerve-wracking but i can assure you, the recruiters make it fun. I had fun with the whole interview process not gonna lie even made friends. Everyone was so chill & nice And NO you won't be able to know that day if you get hired or not they will call you or email you within a week or two unlike other airlines that usually tell you day of interview. And make sure you answer in STAR format during the interview!
