Jimmy John's interview questions

After applying at the store the manager gave me a menu and told me if I could memorize it by the following week he'd give me an interview. I went home and memorized it over the course of the week and then went in for the interview. They asked pretty standard questions. such as why I wanted to work there, what hours I could work, previous work experience, etc. they then scheduled another interview. The second Interview was with a different manager and was much shorter. They asked many of the same questions and told me about training, the uniform, and how the shop works. They then told me to call and schedule the sandwich test. Since I already memorized them I just needed to refresh them and I took it in the next few days. The test is just a blank sheet of paper and you fill in all you know. I suggest making flash cards or something. I passed with only a few errors. After the test I brought in my work permit and I started training the next week.

Found the position listed on Craigslist. It was just one interview and was very easy, just simple questions like how many hours are you looking for and if I know my way around the neighborhood before. I had food service experience but not sandwich making and it was not an issue. The interview is easy because working easily reveals whether it is or is not for you. They make you take the sandwich test to earn $6/hr instead of $5.
