I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at John Deere in Feb 2010
Interview
John Deere Financial only does behavioral interviews and uses the exact same questions for every applicant. Not saying this is bad, but they do not deviate at all from their script and this can make it difficult if you want to get your points across and the questions don't match.
The process can be easy or difficult depending on the interviewer - I've had some that were very good and a few that were awful. One was so bad that I ended up not wanting the job after the interview because the interviewers made me feel uneasy and uncomfortable, which is probably how I would have felt working for that person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you ... (behavioral interviews - same lead-in to all questions)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at John Deere
Interview
Stood up and ghosted by recruiter. Recruiter reached out to schedule an initial screening call, confirmed the time, and I made sure I was prepared and on early. The recruiter never showed up to the call. I followed up multiple times before and after the interview and never received a response.
Really disappointing experience, especially from a company with such a strong reputation. If this is how candidates are treated during the hiring process, it raises concerns about the culture and professionalism internally as well.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at John Deere (Egypt, Tipton, TN) in May 2025
Interview
very easy process to start with, they will ask about your expernince , your current employee status, when did you start working and why you are leaving. You have to be quiet, calm, and responsd quickly to get an offer
Met via zoom to understand the ins and outs of the industry and manager role. They looked into my background into project management and relationships to further indulge in the process.
