Short. I didn't get passed the compensation discussion. This was stated on the posting... "cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority."
I was told by HR. Compensation is determined by years experience ONLY and they use a calculator. Which means your actual experience on the job has ZERO relevance. So your accomplishments basically don't matter. I was extremely disappointed to learn this as I expected more from John Hopkins. They claim to hire the best which is laughable considering you ignore the entire resume. The HR lady asked me questions about credentials... that were on the resume and it was clear she knew zero about what they meant by the way she was asking them. Overall a waste of my time. Good luck getting the best in the field when this is your guidelines for hire.
