I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle (Stamford, CT) in Sep 2016
Interview
Applied online, had phone screen with HR and an in-person interview 2 days later.
Interview was with managing director, very friendly and engaging. Asked me about my current employment and typical questions (why JLL, what do you know about this position, etc.). Said HR would be in touch as to whether or not they would be interested in proceeding with me. Only negative of the experience was that I wasn't contacted for 2 weeks and wasn't given the notice that they had chosen a different candidate until following up on two different occasions. Overall seemed like a great working environment and company.

Interview
It was a fairly simple interview process. I had two different sets of interviews and an excel test in between those two interviews. The excel test was not timed, and you were given a couple of days to complete it.

Question 1
Why are you interested in this role? Tell me an example of a challenge you overcame.
I was referred by employees who worked at the company and was quickly offered an interview.
The first-round interview, which lasted approximately 1 hour, consisted of basic questions and tested your basic knowledge of the real estate market. The interviewer was friendly and created a comfortable environment for discussion.
While the interview went well, I felt rather underprepared for the technical/problem-solving questions and didn't pass to the next round.
emailed, talked to the recruiter, then I met with the hiring manager and another interview with someone in the department. They asked expected questions all around.
