Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle in Feb 2022
Interview
Normal interview format - tell me about yourself, why CRE?, Relocation?, etc. Felt comfortable just like I was having a conversation, interviewer answered all my questions about the role. Very positive experience overall.
In depth phone interview. The phone call lasted about an hour. We Went over my entire resume and the interviewer asked basic questions. Nothing that made an effort to get to know me as a person. I asked how the company was and if she enjoyed working there.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle (New York, NY) in May 2016
Interview
Very informal throughout the process, brokers strongly preferred someone with three to five years of experience within the city. This is reasonable because otherwise you spend three to five months learning the business and the market at opposed to spending that time generating business. This is entirely a draw-based position.
