I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jovie (San Antonio, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
Roughly a 2 hour interview. First part is a traditional interview with the owner of the San Antonio branches. Search any standard list of interview questions, that will pretty much be it. The second part is acting like your interviewer is a student, and tutoring them on a selection of questions relevant to the subjects you have specified you are comfortable tutoring in.

Question 1
How did you deal with a student that was unwilling to do work?
I applied online. I interviewed at Jovie (Richmond, VA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Easy and straightforward. It was a zoom interview and I was just asked about my experience with child care, my tutoring experience, and some character based questions. The whole application, interview, and training process was pretty quick.
Great interview process, timely and professional and felt understood and listened to
Quick response on acceptance or not, Great work environment and hiring process overall, no complaints and positive experience, glad to be a part of it.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jovie (Edina, MN) in Nov 2017
Interview
This interview was peculiar. I interviewed in November. The interview went very well. Once per week for four weeks, I sent in emails to follow up on that interview. I called after four weeks to get feedback on the interview, assuming I did not get the position. Turns out, the person I interviewed with first is no longer employed there. Had I not reached out, I probably would have fallen under the radar.
