I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Justworks (New York, NY) in Nov 2018
Interview
Applied online and a recruiter reached out to me for the initial phone screen. During this conversation, we covered off on the standard - why now, why JustWorks, salary expectations. The recruiter was pretty candid in saying she wanted to advance me to the next round to meet the team in person, and validated that I was just as interested. She said she would send me the link to submit times for the next round. I never heard back - and when I inquired my candidacy, it was clear she had decided my current salary was more than they could afford, even though we clearly spoke about this being a non-issue during the initial call.
For a company that specializes in HR solutions, I would think the candidate experience would be a bit more transparent and respectful. Its a very poor experience to have an open conversation with recruiter, only to have decisions made that go against what was agreed upon, and then not proactively communicated back to the candidate.
