The interview process was long and a bit excessive. I met with six different individuals for a total of 2 hours. I do understand that I'm being screened to see if I fit in with the team. However, I will not be directly reporting to some of them. A first impression will not always dictate your overall personality and skills during the test of time within an organization. The employees are rather on the young side, and their lack of experience during an interview process shows. I have many years experience under my belt and I felt I was declined for one of two reasons; either I'm too old to fit into their culture or the perception of my age may limit my ability to learn more. Too many people in the decision making process, you never know what an individual is feeling, thinking or what personal agenda they may have. This company should limit it down to three people to make the final decision.
