The interview process was long and unprofessional. I was first contacted about this role in 12/17. I advanced to the half day interview on 1/18 and VERBALLY offered the position towards the end of 1/18. The school leader strung me along on until 3/18, when he then called me and told me the scope of the role had changed that they wouldn't need the position.
Not to mention that he was consistently unprofessional and did not answer emails, phone calls, or text messages in a timely manner.
The biggest turn off occurred when he said that KIPP reached out to my current organization WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! He kept pushing that I give my employer the two weeks notice, but he never provided me with a written letter, and ultimately rescinded the offer.
Overall, my experience was very disappointing and I've heard similar experiences from this organization. Hopefully, they will take this as constructive feedback to improve their hiring processes.
