1. It was a very organized process and was a good way to learn. I had applied through Naukri and within 2 weeks I got a call from the HR. I was asked a few things about myself and my project and how I will fit into this role. A telephonic interview was confirmed by the HR which was held 3-4 days later.
2. The technical interview over the telephone lasted 40 mins asking me about the role I had applied for, my Master's thesis and a few puzzles. Very simple puzzles though, if you think clearly it is something not impossible.
3. The same day I was confirmed that I was shortlisted for the on-site interview which was held at Chennai, India after a week.
4. The process took and entire day till 6 pm. The process constituted of the following rounds.
a. Online aptitude test at the office for 1 hour.
b. Test on image processing (logical questions)
c. Defending the answers from the previous round to an interviewer.
d. Puzzle round (it was more like how well can you think, how diverse your thoughts are)
e. Presentation of the Master's thesis
f. HR interview
I think if you are eliminated, you will not have to go through rounds a-f.
5. Interview with the President of Operations (india) at KLA Tecncor which lasted about an hour.
