I applied online. I interviewed at Kaplan (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2011
Interview
Had to come up with a "mock lesson plan" of my choice, and lead a course in front of the interviewers and other interviewees. After you make your presentation, they ask you questions relevant to the material you presented. Easy and comfortable process. They need to make sure you can be in front of a group of people.
Told to teach a lesson, was given lesson plan to do. Need to guide 3 students through a lesson, one person did not get it. Interviewer acts as the 3 students. kind of tripped me up when she went through them.

Interview
Had a pleasant interview process. The whole thing was quick and timely, finished all three parts of the interview process within 4 weeks. Everyone was very friendly, and the whole interview process was online, which was pretty convenient for me.
