I was contacted by a third party recruiting company. Interviewed over the phone in which someone was very professional. I was excited to meet the rest of the team. Come interview time I was given an assessment over video and code interview screen share through a webpage. The coding challenge was remarkably easy, asking to reverse a string using Javascript. The job description says nothing about traditional JS but they assume it's a core requirement for any SWE which is a good assumption. As others may know there are three methods to this like iteration or built in libraries using split and join. I never got to this because the web page that you code on was broken. As I was working through trying to understand why they couldn't see any of my code changes, one interviewer layed down on a couch and rolled his eyes several times. The primary interviewer asked me nothing about myself and I politely told them part way through that we should just reschedule this when the webpage is not experiencing issues. There are thousands of great companies out there and I got the feeling that you will be a bot working here.
