Was approached by talent acquisition, in response to a job post.
Set up initial call, but the person never came back to me and when I asked it was told the position had been closed.
When they reopen the position I was set up a call, interviewed normally, pretty standard questions, nothing challenging and I was definitely qualified for the job, but with a competitive salary.
I was told they'd get back to me in a week... This was 2 months ago.
Luckily I have a job, but imagine doing this to people that are with the pressure of unemployment? Be a bit more mindful is my advice. We are all humans and the moment you get on an interview with someone, you have a moral obligation to be there to relay information about the process.
Kaspersky is probably under the scrutiny of being a Russian corporation, so this type of behavior doesn't bode in their favor.
I still believe in Kaspersky, to be it is a legitimate company, but I'd have liked to be treated differently in this process.
Don't take this as a criticism, just take it as something to improve. I still believe this company.
