Basically, the HR lady called but like others have mentioned there was so much static and noise in the background. The call wasn't very clear and can hardly understand what she was saying! In the end, it got bit weird, when I asked more about the position, etc but she gave very basic answer. I spent quite bit of time preparing for this interview but the whole interaction was a complete let down and in the end, it was so weird.
Please have an actual manager or analyst call potential candidates as HR usually isn't very good at screening candidates to begin with but it's almost impossible to do well on the interview if you can barely understand what the HR person is saying on the other line due to static and so much background noise. It doesn't reflect well on company's corporate culture, you may be losing out on great candidates.
