I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kepler Group (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Applied early March, had a phone screen with a Senior Analyst asking basic questions about my background and describing Kepler. Next step was a video interview with 2 senior analysts, covering exactly the similar types of questions, focusing a bit more on my technical background. Last part of the video interview was a 5-minute presentation about anything I wanted to present on. I chose to present a previous project of mine in an abridged format. Really enjoyed talking to the Senior Analysts, and I thought they were really friendly and genuinely engaged.
The next step was a "final" video interview with the Director. The person seemed a little distracted but explained their role and the organizational structure well. Had to wait for about 3 weeks before hearing back, despite telling me that I could expect to hear back within a week. They then told me to wait another week while they made their decision. Two weeks later, I got an email informing me they've moved ahead and filled the position.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kepler Group (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2024
Interview
It was an easygoing first round. Second round consisted of talking to more team members, and a marketing exercise. This was followed by a skills assessment and talking to more team members. Very pleasant company to talk to.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kepler Group (London, England) in Nov 2023
Interview
First stage - 30 minute video call with a member of HR, was very nice and kind
Second stage - 30 minute video call with two other analysts, very similar questions to first stage
Third/final stage - 1 hour in-person interview in their office with two more senior employees. Included two tasks, first was a presentation about programmatic advertising and the second was a data analysis task. You can present the data analysis task however you like. After presenting each task the interviewers ask questions regarding it to test your understanding further and then more questions about how you like to work and be supported. As a graduate this made Kepler feel like a more supportive working environment for those in their early careers, which is something I was particularly looking for. Prior to arriving, I was told to check in with the office buildings' reception, however, when I got there I was told they did not have contact with Kepler so I had to email them to let them know I was there.
Almost a week after my final stage interview, I received an email saying I wasn't successful without any feedback. I emailed back to ask for feedback/areas to improve. I don't think this is unreasonable or unexpected as this would be very useful for someone in the early stages of their career who invested time in interviewing, preparing presentations and travelling into their office. However, I received an automatic email back saying I don't have permission to contact that email anymore. It was the same email that I'd emailed previously, therefore I feel my email was blocked upon rejection. This has distorted what I had previously thought of Kepler as being a supportive work environment for those in the earlier stages of their careers.
