First-round, regular HR call, but it was the most thorough one I've ever been through. HR told me about the company's history, structure, culture, some clients, and how the company operates during covid, and what to expect after covid. These all happened even before I introduced myself, which makes me feel I'm valued and respected. I then heard back from them in 2 - 3 hours.
The second round was a department manager. The process went for around 20 mins by phone. More relative questions are asked. The manager went me through the company structure again. By then, I was already really clear about this company. I then heard back from them on the same day (around 5-6 hours).
The third round went for a whole day. (Not like lasted for 8 hours but like 4 interviews were scattered in a day. It feels like a day is because even if you are not in the interview, you are preparing for the next one) There were 4 rounds. The first is about a case study (40 min), the second is about translating data (20min), the third one is a presentation (5min pre + 10min Q&A), the fourth one was with the department direct (35 min). It was really intense but also fun, especially the case study one. The one about the director is what I want to highlight. Even though he is the one with the highest title, he is the most friendly, most patient, and nicest one I interviewed with. The director knows extremely well about my background, listened to all my answers patiently, and was encouraging the whole time. Finally, he provided me a clear timeline about when will I be hearing back from the company. I again felt extremely respected and valued. This also helped me made my decision of taking the offer.
I got the offer 8 days (4 working days) after the interview.
The whole process lasted for around 2 weeks, overall it was efficient and smooth.
