I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Keyence (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2017
Interview
I did the whole process and went to Chicago for the final in-person interview on their "career day". I felt like I was literally at a college "career day". The day was long with multiple activities, including the sales pitch on one of their high tech products where they ask you as many questions as they can and try to break you. I probably could've been a little more familiar with the product, I guess, but I stood my ground and thought I had a good presentation for it being my first shot with a new product that I've had 0 experience with. I felt better about getting the job after having conversations with alot of the other people there. It was mostly newly graduates with no sales experience and no personality. Everyone that I talked to that had any type of personality with proven sales experience DIDN'T GET AN OFFER! Also, the compensation plan that the HR guy mentioned was very unclear. There's LOTS of turnover with this position too. Red flags all day. Don't recommend.
Very odd, one hirevue and then they fly you out to chicago. The chicago process is smooth. One interview and roll play. Great time to practice skills and continue to get better.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself and to sell them a product I use everyday. They also asked for a time I showed dedication to achieve a goal.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Keyence
Interview
The interview process starts with an informational session. After that, you complete a digital interview assessment, and only those who pass move on to a traditional Zoom interview. There are definitely a lot of stages you have to pass to get to the final round.

Question 1
They may conduct a mock sales conversation where you will have to sell them something. Or they may ask you what you think will be the hardest part of the job.
Good practice for the job, multiple stages involving phone screening with HR, meeting with director, then mock presentation and interview with manager. Make sure to practice discovery questions for the mock presentations to help you understand client needs.
