I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keyence (Itasca, IL) in Jan 2020
Interview
Very in-depth but quick process; went through a video interview on hireVue and then an in-person sales pitch and interview on Career Day. Decently competitive; cited saying 1 out of 20 applicants make it to the Career Day, with around 40% of Career Day attendees receiving an offer.

Question 1
Why do you want to pursue a career in Technical Sales?
Brief phone call, then a zoom interview with hiring manager, then an in person interview with included sales pitch role-play. They give plenty of info about the role-play in advance.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Keyence in Feb 2026
Interview
There were three interviews, initial Talent Acquisition, phone screen (to confirm location preferences and answer questions), then final sales role-play/behavioral interview. There was also a prep session before the final interview where they talk more about the company and you have time to ask questions on the role-play.
Actually it was around 4-5 rounds , they generally assess your communication and creativity. So , we can expect less technical questions . Gd round was quite easy and topics will be very simple
