I forget the exact number, but I went through about four phone interviews total. Some were individual, while others were with two or three people. They included all members of the small team I would potentially work with as well as a couple people in other departments who work closely with that position.

Many of the questions were about my background and experience. There were scenarios about how I would counsel or motivate volunteers in various situations. One of the most unique questions I remember was: "Imagine that you're a year into this position and you're not happy. Why aren't you happy?"
